Aravon Advisory

Aravon Advisory is a legal consultancy practice founded by Michael Eybers, a corporate, commercial and regulatory lawyer with more than nine years of experience across the UAE, the GCC and South Africa. Michael has advised multinational companies, regional groups and growing businesses on the legal issues that shape how they operate, expand and enter new markets. His background includes senior roles at leading law firms and investment groups in the UAE and South Africa, where he worked across sectors such as technology, healthcare, retail, energy, environmental regulation, defence and utilities.

He established Aravon to give clients direct access to senior legal judgement. The aim is practical support that helps businesses make confident decisions without the cost or complexity of a large law firm.

What Aravon offers

Michael advises on corporate and commercial matters, drafting and negotiating agreements for transactions, restructurings and day to day business operations across industries and jurisdictions. This includes shareholders agreements, joint venture agreements, supply and distribution contracts, consultancy agreements, technology and software arrangements, service agreements, and full suites of transaction documents for disposals and cross border deals. He also advises on corporate structuring, market entry, and the licensing and compliance requirements for operating in the UAE.

Alongside corporate and commercial work, Michael supports clients in highly regulated sectors, including healthcare and life sciences, environmental and sustainability matters, utilities and renewables, and the regulatory frameworks that apply to complex or technical products. His experience includes guiding global technology companies on how to classify, market and launch innovative products, from smart glasses and wearable devices to consumer electronics, and on whether they fall under health technology or consumer technology rules. He also advises on product safety, labelling, warranty obligations and product recalls, and helps clients structure their commercial arrangements to reduce legal risk.
